    “Smokvica ist ein kleiner verschlafener Ort aus alten Steinhäusern, dessen Zentrum sich am Kirchplatz befindet. Dort können alle Einkäufe erledigt werden. 1 Supermarkt, 1 Krämerladen, 1 Metzger sowie 1 Pizzaria und 1 Bar.
    Im Ort kann an mehreren Stellen Olivenöl und Wein probiert und gekauft werden. Beides schmeckt hervorragend!
    Von Smokvica aus kann man im benachbarten Ort "Brna" ein Boot mieten oder essen gehen. Zu den Hauptorten "Vela Luka" und "Korcula" sind es jeweils etwa 25 Kilometer zu fahren.”
