show more trails, cross country trails, skilift, skischool and wild nature. Just a stone's throw away is the Rohrmoosvalley, Sturmannshöhle (cave) and the deerpark "Schwarzenberg".
The Breitachklamm, which were made accessible of the beginning of the century by some courageous inhabitants from Tiefenbach is a wonder of nature. Thanks to them, we are now able to admire these unique wonder from convenient footbridges. Another treasure is the wooden "St. Anna" chapel in Rohrmoos. In this way, Tiefenbach offers you sun, activity, and fresh mountain air in abundance. By the way, the name Tiefenbach originates from "Düfa", which is the local term for the dwarf pines that used to be widespread in the area.
Naturally sound: 17.000 hectares of Oberstdorf (roughly 75 %) have been declared a nature preserve, wild reserve or national park, of which 12.000 hectares alone belong to the "Allgäuer Alps" national park.
