The villa is a ground floor unit of 130 sq. with easy access to the large garden from all rooms. The vacation rental consists of a spacious living area of 75 sq., 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Experience a real feeling of freedom as from the interior you have immediate access to the can lay back on the sun recliners, rest in a shaded hammock settled under a huge tree, listen to the birds, fully relax in a quiet and private surrounding and enjoy the scenery towards the sea. The entire plot is fenced and you find private car parking spots behind the entrance gate.

- Living space.
The living area consists of a really spacious open plan living room, dining area and kitchen. This space is bright and allows a free view to the outside area from the large windows doors. The dining room has a dining table and chairs. The sitting room features a triple and double sofa and a classic office desk for the guests who need to keep up with some work. A SMART TV with ASTRA satellite connection for the foreign channels. An air-conditioning unit (cool/heat), an open fire place and wood stove burner will guarantee a pleasant stay during any season. Wireless internet access is provided.
- Kitchen.
The holiday house offers a fully equipped kitchen with oven, ceramic cooking plate, hob/extractor fan, large fridge with separate freezer, dish washer, micro wave oven, water cooker, coffee machine, as well as all necessary kitchen utensils. Porcelain plates and cutlery as well as the local fresh ingredients do allow you to prepare a tasty meal. At the back side of the house next to the entrance gate you can use the stone build barbecue unit.
- Bedrooms.
The 3 bedrooms have built in wardrobes, window doors, full length mirrors and air-condition units. The master bedroom with sea view consists of a double bed (150 cm), the second bedroom with sea view offers a large double bed 160 cm) and the third bedroom with mountain view offers 2 single beds.
- Bathrooms.
The vacation unit offers a spacious bathroom with bath, toilet, basin & washing machine. Also a second bathroom with shower, toilet and basin will facilitate your comfort.
- Laundry facilities.
Washing machine, steam iron, ironing board and drying rack.Note: beds made with sheets and blankets. Also kitchen and bath towels are provided. With a stay of more than 7 nights, extra sheets / towels are provided depending on the length of your stay. Set of 2 medium and 2 large bath towels per person.

The vacation rental is situated in a lovely villa area with a countryside approach and so near to the town with unforgettable sea views. The holiday rental is located on a hill in the urban peaceful area of "Kastelakia". The distance to the sandy beach and sea is 900 meters at the suburb called "Perivolia". At the beach promenade you find many shops of all kind, taverns and cafes. You can reach the old town centre of Rethymno with a drive of 3 km along the beach promenade.Nearby sports facilities : Basketball, Bike tours, Canoeing, Climbing, Diving, Football area, Mountain climbing, Mountain biking, Paragliding, Riding possibilities, Sailing, Sport center, Surfing, Tennis, Water skiing.Rental Facilities : Bicycle rental service, car rental.Excursion possibilities : Archaeological sites, monasteries, beaches, water parks, aquarium, and much more.
The use of a rental car is recommended.
How to arrive.
From both airports the distance is similar about 75 km. You can take the local bus to Rethymno central bus station and then a take a taxi for a short drive to the vacation rental. Please note; there is a building site adjacent of the villa at a distance of 60 meters which started in July 2024. The building plot is located behind the pine trees and the secondary road at the left side of the property grounds facing the sea when you consult google maps. There could be some noise disturbance during legal working hours from 07:00 am to 15:00 pm.
