The region of Alt Urgell is home to the greatest collection of Romanesque heritage in all the province of Lleida (Worth mentioning are the church of Sant Climent in Coll de Nargó, Sant Román in Valldarques and the numerous Romanesque hermitages in the neighbouring Baronia de Rialb).
