The region offers a hiking friendly terrain, i.a. to the Lindesnes Lighthouse - Norway's oldest (17th century) & southernmost lighthouse - with its own restaurant & museum. This is a great starting point for expeditions on foot, with bicycle or car. From the holiday house there are only 3 km to the town Vigeland, and 18 km to the city of Mandal. At Valle Prestegård in Vigeland there is a statue made by the famous sculptor Gustav Vigeland (1869-1943). Mandal offers real South-Norwegian romantic through its scenery of white, old houses.
