The natural wonders of Pinzgau

A region steeped in history and culture
The region's centuries old parish church dates back to 1469 and commands immense respect from the town's inhabitants despite its modest size. The Sixtuskapelle chapel at Mount Sonnberg and the nearby Augentrostkapelle are also charming. Children will love the themed hiking trail called the Planetenwanderweg ("Planet Hiking Path") as well the planetarium in nearby Wald im Pinzgau. The Mineralienmuseum features gemstones and minerals and offers interesting insights into the region's mining past.
