Charming Alienor house with garden and your pet
The typical house from the 17th century is on the edge of the village. During the restoration work in 2020 the authentic charm of Périgord houses was preserved with a big confortable. The view from the house spans the surrounding landscape with castel, fields and cows.
The detached holiday house provides 95m² of living space for 4 people. The house has a big living room with a open kitchen. The sitting area with sofas and a dining table is grouped around the traditional old fireplace, with a wood-burning stove. You can spend cosy evenings here. There are also a flatscreen TV (satellite receiver, DVB-T), WIFI, a radio and a DVD player. The kitchen behind it has a ceramic hob, extractor fan, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher and all the necessary kitchen utensils. On the other side of the house there are the bedrooms. The first bedroom has two single beds (90 x 190cm), a wardrobe and two chairs. The second bedroom has a wardrobe with floral motifs, two chairs and two single beds (90 x 190cm). The mattresses are of a new standard. And a big shower with washbasin, a separate WC.And a game room with ping-pong and baby-foot
The holiday house has a big, fenced garden measuring 700m²for your pets friends. The old, open barn has garden furniture and you can enjoy meals here in summer, with a grill.
Baby equipment (cot, highchair, bath and crockery) can be provided on request. Pets are welcome and tourist information material is provided, arranged according to themes.
At the foot of the local castle there is a lake, with a shaded lawns inviting you to eat in summer. Around the village and in the surrounding areas there are many hiking trails and bycycle. The location in the Dordogne valley makes the house an ideal starting point for exploring the Périgord region with its sights, of which many are within 25km. When you get back from your trips you can enjoy the peace, quiet and comfort of the house and treat yourself at the nearby restaurants with their regional specialities and wines. The restaurant “Les Marronniers” offers well-priced menus at lunchtime and in the evenings. In the neighbouring locality 3k away there are two grocery shops, the bred, newspapers, fruit and vegetables. You can also buy bread, meat from producers and locally prepared dishes there.
