LOCATION 

The Chesa Villasimius is in a quiet location directly opposite the Celerina train station. The apartment is within a short walking distance of the Marguns/Corviglila mountain railway, the ski school and the extensive cross-country ski trail network.Perfect starting point for various summer and winter activities.
If you want to combine vacation and work: with 5G internet and an electrically adjustable standing desk, this is also an ideal apartment for working from home. 
Various shops and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity (Volg and bakery 250 m, Coop 300m).

Well-equipped separate kitchen, including Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, toaster, mixer, raclette, fondue 

Bedroom 1: New comfortable double bed 160x200 cm, three-door pine cabinet and pine chest of drawers 

Bedroom 2: New comfortable pine wood bed 120x200 cm (can be used as a single or double bed), armchair bed with comfortable topper 80x200 cm, pine wood wardrobe and pine wood chest of drawers, electrically height-adjustable office table (can be used as a standing table), WiFi 5G router 

Bathroom: Bathtub with shower partition, bidet, toilet and spacious sink, built-in cupboards and drawers.

What mountains. What lakes. What light! Whether on the 580km (360 miles) of hiking paths strewn over all the mountains or by mountain bike along 400km (250 miles) of fabulous trails: the Upper Engadin offers a superb network of paths and trails amidst an unspoilt Alpine landscape and the inspiring lake plateau. Four flow trails on the Corviglia guarantee a perfect flow. Equally popular among sports enthusiasts are the Upper Engadin lakes; kiting, sailing, windsurfing, stand up paddling – the possibilities are virtually endless. The expanse of the inspiring high-lying valley can be experienced in a particularly striking way on the two 18-hole golf courses in Samedan and Zuoz. And besides the wide range of sporting options, visitors can take advantage of the first-class cultural activities on offer, such as a visit to a museum or to one of the numerous art galleries in the various villages.  


In winter, the ski areas of Corviglia, Corvatsch, Diavolezza and family friendly Zuoz invite ski and snowboard enthusiasts to revel in 350 kilometres (218 miles) of the finest powder snow. Cross-country skiers will find over 220km (137 miles) of perfectly groomed trails in the Upper Engadin and the side valleys. The winter hiking paths and cross-country ski trails on the frozen Upper Engadin lakes are characterised by their light, sunshine and space amidst inspiring Alpine scenery. Those who would like to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of the snow-covered forests can explore the side valleys of Val Roseg, Val Fex or Val Bever on 150 kilometres (90 miles) of winter hiking paths. Visitors who prefer to have everything in view, meanwhile, will delight in the breathtaking vistas on the panorama hiking trails high above the lakes on Muottas Muragl.  


Families can bask in the Engadin sun during a ride in a horse-drawn carriage into the Val Roseg or Val Fex, or race down the mountainside into the valley on the winding, 4.2km (2.6 mile) long toboggan run on Muottas Muragl.

Location description:
Celerina – the village with the charming centre 


St. Moritz’s charming neighbour enjoys more hours of sunshine than anywhere else in the Engadin. However, Celerina also presents itself in a very special light as a result of its alpine village centre with its beautiful traditional Engadin houses. Very close by is the aerial cableway to Marguns, which transports guests directly to the glamorous mountain and ski area of St. Moritz-Corviglia, as well as the Upper Engadin’s expansive network of cross-country ski trails. In summer, contrast-rich paths through forests and meadows lure visitors to one of the most romantic alpine bathing lakes in the Upper Engadin – the Lej da Staz.
